21 March 2015: There were a few of us up working in the allotment this morning – in fact the boys started very early they had nearly finished their days work before I arrived at 10am. They have uncovered their beds and dug in fresh manure and will be ready for planting in a few weeks.
Despite my worries the gooseberries have survived and are beginning to show signs of growth. It was decided that we should but stakes down and put wire netting around and enclose them properly. Joe is going to organise this.
I planted a few King Edward main crop potatoes alongside my onions so hopefully come Autumn…
